3 weeks ago, it marks the end of my another journey on korean language.

Looking back, it's been 1 year since i study the very beautiful language.

From someone who can only speak a full short sentence through self learning since young (Eh, i consider myself young when i was in sec school. haha), to someone who can watch her k drama (well, not full), speak with full sentence, understanding what others are talking about (sometimes.) and expressing myself. Okay, i'm still learning so i'm not that good still, but as compared to last time, i feel much better.

Many were asking me, "So why the language?"

I wanted to be different from others. Everyone is taking up japanese, and i am not very interested in the language. I can say that my interests for japanese is still not strong, though i really really love their things. Things like the country, the culture, the food, the shops, the people, and etc. I try picking up Japanese as my third language by using my sister textbook. But it failed so terribly. I got a chance to study japanese for free when i'm in poly. Well, i think the school fees already counted in though. I didn't choose japanese in the end because i think i am unable to score well. Didn't want to pull down my GPA that time. But most of my classmate took japanese and i had some fun time joining them learning for free. haha!

However, if you want me to speak japanese now, i can still say a few full sentence. haha. Just a few!

So since when exactly did the K wave hit singapore?

I think it hit singapore first with the very hit drama, Autumn Tale.
During that time, it was a HIT. So it should be year 2001.

But it wasn't this show that hitted me with the K wave. I actually watched some even earlier show back.

Then eventually, a lot of korean show pop out onto the singapore tv screen.

Star in My Heart (1997) Ha! Many people confirm won't know about this show. But hey! I watched before. and Man, i really find it NICE. Ahn Jae wook was really young and not bad looking back then. haha!
Goodbye My Love (1999)
Mothers and Sisters (2000) This 1 i think not many people know also. haha. It was 50 ep!
All about Eve (2000)
Truth (2000) Ryoo Si won was also not bad looking back then.
Four Sisters (2001)
Hotelier (2001)
Beautiful Days (2001)
Winter sonata (2002)
Loving You (2002)
My Fair Lady (2003)
All in (2003)
Summer Scent (2003)
Dae Jang Geum (2003) I watched. Everybody watched. But it was a shocking scene that my parents chase after it more than me!
Lovers in Paris (2004)
Stairway to Heaven (2004)
Sweet 18 (2004)
Full house (2004)
Love Story in Harvard (2004)
Lovers in Prague (2005)
My Name is Kim Sam Soon (2005)
My Girl (2006)
Which Star Are You From? (2006)
Spring Waltz (2006)
Princess Hours (2006)
Que Sera, Sera (2007)
Star’s Lover (2008)
Shining Inheritance (2009)

Okay.
These are all i can remember from the past. I will do an update after exam then. Hopefully.

I think my list is really scary if i type out all of them. But those earlier days, i actually watched with my grandma and sister. So not much sin. haha!

Hoping to watch back the earlier shows like Truth, Star in My Heart, All about Eve in korean 1 day. I hope i can still search them back. Back then, all the korean show were in chinese. I mean, all their voices sound the same every show. I think the same person did the voice for them over and over again.

Anyway, my next level my korean started last week and it was getting so difficult.

Seriously, i think korean are totally... Very weird.
For example, When i say, "Can you pass me that book?" I think we only have like formal and informal.

Korean have, Very Formal. Formal. Semi-Formal. Informal. Rude.
So many types.

Even for numbers. There are 2 types.
One for telephone, room number, floor, how much is it.
One for no. of items.

Totally, WAH!
And both types of the number, don't sound the same at all.

Interesting?
I really think so.

And lastly, seoul.
Suppose to go seoul when i was 14. But what i can recalled was, our new passport was not ready yet and School reopened. So sadly till now, i have not yet stepped into the country. People like my daddy, sister and brother in law had all already stepped into the country and came back. It's really nice to hear them talk about their experience. And i believe mine will be a different one if i am to go there 1 day.

So now, i hope my dream of stepping into the country come true.
Since i miss out last year's. I cannot miss out this year again.
I will go crazy if i miss out this year again.

Had confirmation from the school. But i have not yet received any letter. -_____-

Anyway, i decided to be more daring and go search for my own dorm/hostel.
I don't like the idea of checking in 1 day before school starts and check out once school ends.
And i seriously think the school's price doesn't justify itself.
So....
I opt others in my form option and went searching for my own living places.
The korean have many options. Dorm, Hostel, Goshiwon, One-room-tel, guesthouse, boarding house.

After searching, i decided to look for a Goshiwon. This is the more preferred places. I mean, a lot of exchange students or foreign choose this. So i decided to give it a try.

It's a small room, with window, with toilet, fridge, etc. Bascially, all the basic things you must have in your room. Oh. Free WIFI 24/7! The kitchen is shared with others in the same level.

There are a lot of Goshiwon in the school's area. Big room. Small room. Standard room.
I wanted somewhere near the subway and a newer ones. So i found 1 which is just a 1 min walk away from the subway. But it's 15 mins walk to the school.
I guess it's alright. I will treat it as a morning exercise then.
After searching for this Goshiwon, i realise the address are very similiar to the school outside dorm. And to my surprise, i've choose 1 that's just beside the school's dorm.
Very interesting.

Exchange some email with the manager. Paid and settled.

On the list
- My Pink Electronic Dictionary. My book dictionary is spoiling soon... Oh my.
- My laptop.
- Air ticket. SIA or Asiana? Hmm...

That's all.

My exam are in a mess. My ma i did wrongly. Oh my god.. KILL me. I don't want see james again. But i think i will get to see him again.
My ME. PLEASE. i write my candidate number correctly please. I am not so blur till i write wrongly can. =( Plkus i wrote it very early. The moment i go in....
